The ribbons and gift-wrapping have been cleared away, and the kitchen and the dining-room table cleaned up. Hopefully you’re all enjoying the lull of The-Day-After-Christmas. Whether you’re sleeping off the big meal from last night or simply savoring the quiet, in just a few short days, this year will be over.
Kind of dizzying, isn’t it? Where did the time go? Seems like it was just two months ago that you were making plans to make 2016 your year, and boom — 2016 happened. Hard.
Now we’re almost done and here we all are, looking around at our lives. Where are you now? How are you doing? How far have you come from the start of the year? How much do you want next year to be better? Are you ready?
Take a good look at who helped you through, and don’t forget the people you helped, too. Give yourself credit for pushing through and making it. There may have been times you broke down and you had to crawl until you could get up, but you made it. You made it here, now. And for that, you get to stand at the start of a whole new year.
Maybe you’re already in the thick of carrying out the plans for making next year your best one yet. Maybe you’ve decided not to harp so much on getting everything done and made a resolution to pare down and focus on what really matters to you. Whatever you’re planning, whatever your goals, we here at Jrox.com wish you all the hope, success, and joy in all your endeavors.
Happy New Year, everyone.

Signing up for paid surveys seems to be an easy job for extra cash without exerting too much effort, not like taking on a second (or in this economy, a third) job. However, when it comes to picking which survey groups to join, you have to answer 3 simple questions to see if doing paid surveys would work for you.
Do you have to pay for signing up?
Legitimate survey and market research companies won’t ask you to fork over any money. You are the one giving them feedback so you shouldn’t be charged anything.
Check to see if the survey company has an affiliate program where you also get paid if you refer your friends and family to join in the surveys. Some companies compile directories or lists and sell memberships to these instead.
Do some research and check out the reviews on the individual service first.
Is this a workable choice for me? Continue reading Are Paid Surveys Worth It?

For anyone with a deep fascination or interest in 3D animation, and in particular, 3D character animation, the goal is often to gradually improve the standard of your character animation to the point where you are not afraid to show it to even the most critical audience.
One aspect of character animation, which can be difficult to get a good grasp of, is eye movement. It is easy to underestimate just how vital it is to get the animation of the eyes right in your scenes, and in particular, in close-ups of your 3D character. There is nothing that screams “beginner” more loudly than slow, lazy, left-to-right and back again eye movements. Eyes simply don’t move like that… unless you’ve been drugged, of course. And unless you inject some life and vitality into your characters, through their eyes, they will always look dead and lifeless on screen.
